Dear Families,
Inter-school Swimming
Last week, we had a small but dedicated group of nine students represent our school at the inter-school swimming carnival at the Hobart Aquatic Centre. There were some incredible individual and team performances and our school came fourth place in our division. Five students have been selected to represent our school at the upcoming ‘Champions Carnival’ which is a huge achievement and we wish them all the very best of luck.
Grandparents Day
Thank you to all the incredible grandparents who joined us at school for Grandparent’s Day. We know that grandparents play such a special role in children’s lives. The children loved welcoming you into their classes and sharing their work with you!
End of Term Rewards
We have so many exciting excursions and special events between now and the end of the school year. Some of these are rewards for students who consistently demonstrate our school values and for those who have made significant improvements in certain areas. We are reminding students of the importance of being safe, fair and sharing and making positive choices at school. We hope to have record numbers of students invited to participate in our end of year reward day which celebrates positive behaviour.

1/2 Weavers/Cruse and 1/2 Varveris went to the Glenorcy Recycling shop and had an educational tour about recycling. We then went to Tolosa Park for a BBQ.
