Dear Families,
I would like to extend our thanks for your patience and support as our school acts on guidance provided to us by the Minister for Education in relation to coronavirus. This guidance is based on advice from state and national health experts. The current position is that schools will remain open and it is safe to send your children to school unless they are unwell. If your child is unwell for any reason, please keep them at home and seek medical advice as appropriate.
Hand washing is one critical thing we can do to maximise our health and that of our families. Our school nurse has spent time in each of our classrooms showing children the best way to wash their hands along with other health and hygiene practices.
While we are endeavouring to keep things as normal as possible for our students at this time, we have had to cancel a number of forthcoming events including excursions, shows and assemblies. At this stage, Launching into Learning sessions and Breakfast Club will continue.
We will continue to keep you informed of updates and advice. Thank you again for your ongoing support during this time.
